Multi-Party Facilitation
When a conflict has more than two or three disputants or “stakeholders” (people whose interests are involved by right) and several parties must agree in order to solve the problem, it is called “multi-party mediation” or “multi-party facilitation.”
Our mediators can assess the conflict and aid the parties in planning a process that will help resolve the conflict, define the roles of the participants, determine who needs to be involved for resolution, generate and evaluate options and guide the parties toward resolution.
We can meet separately with parties to discern their positions, or all together, with permission of all involved.
MH Mediation mediators have facilitated conflicts involving Real Property, town, village, neighbors, and even litigants in Bankruptcy Court.
