Costs of Mediation
How Much Does it Cost?
With the average cost of divorce in the area between $25,000 and $30,000 MH Mediation believes that making mediation available to a wider group is a necessary part of our mission.
Our fees are as follows:
- Initial Consultation: $400 (per couple)
- Administration Fee: $400 (payable at first session)
- Each one hour mediation session: $400.00 per hour
- Drafting of Separation Agreement: $1,500 (per couple)
- The above fees become effective as of June 1, 2024
We do operate a sliding fee scale. If you feel your income may qualify for our reduced fee, please call our office at: 845-471-7167. There is an asset test, which is how we determine your eligibility.
